What is Myrist? What is EverQuest? Recent Updates EverQuest had such rich lore that I fell in love with, but the lore of Norrath was scattered and hard to find. I thought that it would be great if there was just one place where you could go to find all the lore in one place. I was taking a web design and programming program in college, and as a project I figured I would make that one place myself, so that others could experience and fall in love with the lore that the world of Norrath had to offer. Slowly, EverQuest ceased to be the world of adventure, exploration, questing, and story that it used to be, and started to become more of just a game, a grind-fest and end-game focused. I no longer enjoyed playing it, it lacked the soul it used to have, and the lore wasn’t even cohesive or present anymore. So I decided it was time to move on, and what better a place than another world in which I could continue my journeys on Norrath, EverQuest II. To my knowledge, this archive is complete up to and including Seeds of Destruction. As I no longer play the game, this portion of New Myrist will no longer be updated. I wish I could re-direct you to another site to keep updated on EverQuest lore, but it seems that none of them are being updated anymore. My best advice would be to watch the EQ Players page for new articles, as that is where they have been released for the most part. Zatozia informed me that there was supposed to be two more articles to the Unfolding of the Seeds of Destruction lore, but nothing new has been released since October 2008, so I don’t think there are going to be any new articles released at this point. I hope that this archive will still serve a purpose to some of you out there.
